We will create a NET ZERO alternative energy based food production center that becomes a model and solution to help confront the global food crisis.
Background
The Blossom Foundation was formed as the result of experiences gained through conducting research for Blossom Investment Management. Also, our background in food manufacturing has shown us that we must all prepare ourselves for the future.
Objectives
The Blossom Foundation will seek to partner with organizations to build a world-class educational center for the purpose of creating comprehensive and scalable sustainability plans for local food production.
Conclusion
The Blossom Center will only use alternative energy methods for both facility purposes and food production as part of its embrace of innovation and implementation in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Blossom Center will benefit the environment by serving as a resource and example to enterprises worldwide of the successful use of alternative energy and bio-degradable packaging. The Blossom Center will show that a net-zero food production center can be profitable in the developed world, and that creating such a facility in areas without traditional power infrastructure would be extremely cost-effective. The successes anticipated by The Blossom Center will lend themselves to replication worldwide. The Blossom Center will emphasize the policies and technologies that can provide sustainable business models that are easily implemented worldwide. |
